Have I burnt my CD correctly?

E-mail Print PDF

We have customers who say they can't use the disk they have downloaded from us.

On of the reasons is that, in some cases, you have not burnt the ISO to disk correctly.

What can happen is that you end up with ISO on the disk instead of the file structure that the ISO contains.

The ISO's we provide are basically a file structure that can be autorun be your CD (In the case of a Driver Recovery CD), it is an easy way of deliverying the data to our customers.

When the ISO has been burnt to a CDit should look similar to the screen shot below, if not, it has not been burnt correctly.

Microsoft will not be offering an upgrade version of Windows 7 in Europe.

While that option will be offered in the US, Microsoft said its efforts to comply with competition regulations meant it could not do so in Europe.

European regulators dismissed the claim, saying the move limited choices rather than opening them up.
