Why do I need a Data Recovery disk?

Are you having problems with your Iridium computer booting up?  Is there is a black screen or even a blue screen , or your Microsoft Windows operating system won't start.

You have no idea what is wrong with it, is it the software, something you did, or is your computer slowly dying?

The problem is you have a folder of special photos, music downloads, or important documents, all your email addresses or maybe your business administration is all done on this computer  and you don't want to lose your data!
 
Don't just use the System Recovery Disks you got with your computer, or your Microsoft Windows disk, these will wipe everything off your hard drive!
If you have any problems starting your PC then these are the downloads that you need.

Microsoft will not be offering an upgrade version of Windows 7 in Europe.

In the past Microsoft has given people already using Windows a chance to upgrade to a new version when it becomes available. 

While that option will be offered in the US, Microsoft said its efforts to comply with competition regulations meant it could not do so in Europe.

European regulators dismissed the claim, saying the move limited choices rather than opening them up.
