Hint:

Set the administrator password to nothing is usually the best option, you can then reboot, login as administrator, change the password and then set whaterver password you want.

Warning:

Do not use this if you have encrypted disk's, changing the password on an encrypted will not allow you to decrypt your data and you will lose all of it.
